DEATHS`
DECEMBER 2008

FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT

Dear Members,

The season of festivals is here. It is the time of tapping our feet to
the beats of merry notes. It is the time of merry-making, indeed!

It is a matter of unalloyed satisfaction for all of us for the
overwhelming response to our Bijoya-Diwali Programme. The National
Debate too surpassed our expectations of success when more than
4,000 people were glued to their seats to listen to the brainstorming
by some of the best brains of the country.

We can see the theme of Friendship & Fellowship coming to reality
much to our happiness. No, it is not all play for us. House building
and Maintenance is a priority urea. Our rebuilt Board Room can rival
any similar facility in the city.

We shall begin the festivities of the season with a musical evening
"Sound comes to Life", followed by a special dinner wn 13 December.
The Bakery Carnival is happening on 21 December. We are sure the
members and their families will enjoy the daylong events of
entertainment and fun. An evening for carols will be there on
24 December.

The Christmas Lunch this year will have a new and interesting menu.
Please remember to book your seats well in advance to avoid
disappointment.

Pankaj Udhas & Talat Aziz are sharing the stage, at our Club lawns,
for the first time for an enthralling performance on 27 December.
Members are requested to collect their entry passes on time.

Bring out the old and bring in the new. You can step with the rhythm
of the band "Fahrenheit", followed by a popular DJ, welcoming the
New Year.

The Flagship event of the Club - International Evening -has been
slated for 24January 2009. Members are requested to join in the
fun and festivities.

Let us take our Club to even newer heights.

Thank you,
